How the Powerlifting App Works
Follow One Block
Here is how a four-week block might play out — assessment, daily training, weekly adaptation, and meet-day planning.
Week 1
Assessment → first program
You enter maxes, experience, bodyweight, goals, and struggle points. Iron Raven generates a full microcycle tailored to your profile — not a generic template.
Week 2
Readiness adjustment on a rough night
Sleep was poor and soreness is up. A quick pre-session check-in explains why and offers specific prescription changes. You accept the adjustment and train smart without abandoning the block.
Week 3
Normal progression
Recovery is back. You complete sessions as programmed. Every set you log shapes what comes next. Strength and volume trends start showing on your Progress tab.
Week 4
Fatigue flag → taper → attempts
Accumulated fatigue triggers a training adjustment with planned vs adjusted options. At program completion, attempt selection helps you plan opening attempts for meet day or a max test in the gym.
What Makes It Different
- ›Built for powerlifting — mesocycles, microcycles, RPE, tapers, and attempt selection.
- ›Closed-loop adaptation — session data drives next week's program, not a static PDF.
- ›Readiness-aware training — prescription-level adjustments, not just a recovery score.
- ›Meet-ready workflow — fatigue detection and attempt selection in one product.
- ›Works where lifting happens — offline logging with background sync when connected.
